We offer a workplace meditation program to teach people numerous different ways to meditate as a mental health initiative.
Meditation is a technique that has been proven to assist in the prevention of mental health breakdown. The effects of regular meditation are limitless, however fundamentally it is a proven way to increase resilience, emotional intelligence, and communication in the workplace.
Mental Health Initiative
There are ever-growing statistics for the decline of mental health in Australia. In 2017–18, 13% or 2.4 million Australians aged 18 and over experienced high or very high levels of psychological distress, a 12% increase from 2014–15 (11.7% or 2.1 million Australians) (ABS 2019b).
These numbers are on the increase, especially with changes to our current world. Working from home has not eliminated the progression of mental health fatigue, in fact, it has significantly contributed to it, with people feeling vulnerable and isolated. Whilst not all of the stress is from the workplace, the results of mental health fatigue usually play out in there due to the amount of time we spend working.

Carol Cleary – Facilitator
Carol is an experienced professional and has worked in privately owned corporations; state government; local government and charitable organisations. During her career, Carol managed and mentored teams of staff and has led them through significant workplace change, implementing strategies that assisted individuals to cope in an ever-changing environment. During the many phases of change, it became evident that mental health played a pivotal role in the acceptance of change, and how we relieve stress is as important to the individual as it is to the organisation.
It is from these years of experience that Carol developed a deep passion to assist individuals in any workplace to help mental fatigue (stress) by implementing meditation practice. Carol has met many people who declare that they can’t meditate—this is because not every person responds to one meditation technique. Carol can provide a variety of meditation techniques that suit each individual.
Carol has been practicing meditation for the last 30 years and has facilitated meditation groups for the last 15 years. Carol is a certified Hypnotherapist and has been certified to facilitate various meditation techniques such as mindfulness meditation; Breathwork©; chanting; mantra meditation; body scan; chakra alignment; kundalini; colour scheme awareness; sound meditation; movement meditation; binaural beats; guided meditation and more.
Carol’s passion is to introduce meditation to people who say ‘I can’t meditate’ or ‘I’ve tried and I can’t stop my brain to meditate’. Meditation is good for the individual and for the people around them.
